A former commercial litigation lawyer, Alice moved into the charity sector in 2015 to lead ClientEarth's climate programme and most recently served as Director of Global Legal Strategy at the Foundation for International Law and the Environment (FILE).
Barbara is the Finance Director at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), bringing nearly two decades of experience in climate finance. She holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Barbara previously worked at an energy think tank and is currently a trustee for a charity focused on carbon dioxide removal innovation.
Becky is the Chief Operating Officer at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), where she plays a pivotal role in advancing QCF’s mission to unlock critical climate solutions. She translates strategy into implementation, leading a team of experienced functional heads including finance, legal, grants operations, communications, information technology, and people operations, to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. She is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of processes to balance the needs of QCF employees and external partners.
With more than 15 years of senior management experience in global FMCG companies, Becky is a seasoned Finance Director, Auditor, Commercial Finance Specialist and qualified accountant. In 2020, Becky moved into philanthropy, as the Director of Programme Finance at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), where she was instrumental in driving financial strategy and supporting impactful climate initiatives globally. She also has experience in setting up and running new businesses across various sectors. Her passion for brands and strategic growth has driven impressive results for numerous global brands through her ability to bring financial insights to life with her infectious energy.
Beyond her commercial acumen, Becky is deeply committed to helping individuals realise their potential by building technical and interpersonal skills and fostering self-belief. A qualified teacher, with a love of languages, she excels in engaging and motivating people, whether in the boardroom or the classroom. Catrin is the Communications Director at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), driving strategic efforts to promote climate solutions that reduce climate impacts and lift people out of climate vulnerability. With more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications, advocacy and grantmaking, she has worked across the finance, media, technology, and non-profit sectors, leading campaigns to advance climate action, and influence public discourse and policy on climate and economic equity.
Dilly is a Grants Manager at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), contributing to the operational management of the grants portfolio and deployment of capital. She has experience in programme and operational support roles within international organisations and non-profits focusing on oceans and natural resources, global health, and youth. Dilly holds an MA in Human Rights and a BA in International Relations and Global Development.
Greg is the Deputy CEO and Chief Science Officer at the Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), where he leads the Science and Evidence, and Programmes teams. He is responsible for identifying new opportunities for deploying philanthropic capital and managing QCF's portfolio. Greg holds a PhD in experimental physics from the University of Basel and an MSc in chemistry. With over 15 years of experience in academic research, his work has primarily focused on plasma physics and materials processing, particularly the behaviour of materials under extreme conditions, with applications in nuclear fusion.
From 2014 to 2020, Greg served as a scientific coordinator on the ITER project, the largest and most complex scientific project in the world. In 2020, he became the Managing Director of Zenon Research, a Paris-based think tank that analyses emerging trends in technological innovations required to achieve net zero emissions. He was among the first advocates for Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) in France.
Greg is also an associate researcher at Mines Paris PSL and an academic fellow of the Institut Louis Bachelier. He has published more than 240 scientific articles, authored the book ‘Energy Chronicles’, and contributed to three other books. Greg is regularly featured in major media on topics related to climate tech, climate, and energy, and actively engages in public outreach through speaking engagements and social media.
Emily is the People Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), responsible for hiring, people-related activities and events. She began her career with internships in law and PR and spent five years in communications and advocacy recruitment in Westminster. Emily holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Nottingham and a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law.
Emma is Executive Assistant to the Programme Directors at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF). Emma joined QCF with eight years’ experience in executive assistance, and support roles in a variety of industries including luxury retail, PR, and tech.
Frances is a Programme Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF) with a decade of experience in research and philanthropy, focusing on climate policy and innovation. She previously worked as an Associate Director for Carbon Removal at ClimateWorks Foundation and held research positions at McGill University, Oxford University, and UNEP. Frances holds an MSc in Environmental Change from Oxford University and a BA in Economics from McGill University.
Jacqui is the Executive Assistant to the Management Team at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), bringing more than 20 years of experience supporting leaders across diverse industries. Before joining QCF, she worked at an asset management firm in the City and in various creative sectors. Jacqui holds a BSc in genetics and is passionate about contributing to QCF's science-focused mission.
Jess started her career in climate nearly two decades ago as a researcher working at the intersection of climate change and poverty. For six years, she advised governments, the UN, World Bank, donors, and think tanks on climate adaptation planning and financing in vulnerable developing countries. Transitioning to energy policy, she held senior positions within the UK Government for seven years, playing a pivotal role in driving the UK's clean energy transition. Her roles included Head of Carbon Markets at the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Head of Energy Branch at HM Treasury, and Senior Adviser to the Energy Minister at the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).
In 2019, Jess moved into philanthropy, becoming a Global Director in the Climate Programme at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). She joined Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF) in December 2022. At QCF, a science-led philanthropy focused on unlocking critical climate solutions, she leads the team working on efforts to build climate resilience for the most vulnerable people.
Jess holds a PhD in international development, with a focus on climate vulnerability, and has an MSc in Environment and Development and an Executive Master of Public Policy (EMPP) from the London School of Economics (LSE). She has published extensively on climate finance and adaptation and served as an IPCC expert reviewer for the Fifth Assessment Report (2014) and a contributing author for the Special Report on Adaptation (2012).
Julie is a Programme Director at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), where she develops high-impact funding strategies to advance climate action. With two decades of strategic leadership experience, she most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at Climeworks, establishing carbon removal as a key climate solution. She was previously a Chief Brand Officer at LVMH and held various leadership positions at P&G. Julie also serves as Chair of AFEN, France's carbon removal association.
Justin is a Programme Director at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), focusing on unlocking critical climate solutions that reduce climate impacts and lift people out of climate vulnerability. He has more than 15 years’ experience working on the climate challenge as a campaign strategist, grantmaker, and organiser across civil society and philanthropy globally. He holds an MA in International Development from the University of Denver and a BA in Marketing from the University of Utah.
Laura is the General Counsel at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF). A qualified lawyer since 2008, Laura’s background spans corporate law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, and more recently charity and not-for-profit roles, leading on all legal, regulatory and compliance matters in a range of sectors. Before joining QCF, Laura was the General Counsel and Company Secretary of the Carbon Trust, a leading global sustainability consultancy.
Lauren is a qualified Chartered Accountant with eight years of experience in the philanthropic sector. At Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), she works with the wider team to ensure grant funding supports QCF’s vision and mission. Before joining QCF in 2023, Lauren was an Associate Director at a professional services organisation, leading donor assurance, capacity building, and forensic investigations for grant-giving charitable foundations worldwide.
Leonardo is a Science Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), leading strategic scoping and analysis of themes around energy, industry, and decarbonisation. He has a background in energy consulting and government policy and holds a PhD in advanced semiconductors for photovoltaics from Oxford, and an MSc in Natural Sciences (Physics) from Cambridge.
Lottie supports the Advisory Board members at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF). With eight years of experience in the UK Civil Service, she has worked in policy development and international operations, including energy and climate change projects, Brexit, and the Covid-19 economic response. Lottie studied psychology at university and is training to be an executive coach.
Ludivine is the Business Manager at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), supporting the Chief Science Officer and Deputy CEO, and programme and impact directors. She joined QCF from Chatham House’s Environment and Society Centre, where she managed projects on food systems, energy transitions, and climate diplomacy. Previously, Ludivine worked in events and fundraising at Chatham House and interned for Apple in California.
Madeleine is a Science Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), where she applies her interdisciplinary scientific expertise to drive positive environmental and societal outcomes. With a background spanning genetic engineering (PhD), materials science, and chemistry (MSci, MRes), and a Churchill Fellowship in sustainability, Madeleine brings a rigorous analytical mindset to solving hard climate problems. Prior to joining QCF, she worked as a technical business analyst for a company she subsequently helped sell to a listed plc. Madeleine also served as a Founder-in-Residence at a European venture studio, scoping impactful climate venture opportunities.
Marcelle is a Finance Executive at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), supporting the Finance Director and Manager with financial operations. Her background includes teaching English as a second language and digital education administration. Marcelle is fluent in Italian and Portuguese.
Naomi is a Programme Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), developing and implementing strategies to address climate harms and scale solutions to protect people and the planet. A former corporate lawyer, Naomi has over a decade of global experience in climate and energy, spanning from civil society to corporate sustainability to philanthropy. She most recently worked as the director of programme strategy at a climate-focused nonprofit organisation.
Niloufar is a Science Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), identifying opportunities for philanthropic investment in climate solutions. Before QCF, she was a founder-in-residence at a climate tech venture studio in Paris, developing a geochemical carbon removal company. Nilou holds a PhD in climate science from Northwestern University and a BSc in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara.
Nina is the Legal Counsel at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF). Before joining QCF, she worked as an in-house lawyer at leading global climate consultancy, Carbon Trust. Nina started her career as a finance lawyer at a prominent law firm in London.
Peter Barnett is a Programme Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), focusing on the role that law and finance play in accelerating climate action and resilience. He has 14 years of experience in leading law firms, and more recently in environmental advocacy, at legal non-profit, ClientEarth. Peter holds an LLM from Harvard Law School and an LLB (Hons) and BCom in finance from the University of Otago.

With nearly 15 years of experience in sustainable development, climate strategy, research and philanthropy, Ruwa holds a PhD in Energy and Environmental Science and an MSc in Environmental Science from WITS University.

With 15 years of experience in impact measurement, she has worked globally across the private and development sectors, and in academia.
Stephanie is a Programme Lead at Quadrature Climate Foundation (QCF), managing the UK and Europe grantmaking portfolio. With more than 10 years of experience in domestic and international climate policy, she worked in the UK Government leading the electric vehicle strategy and infrastructure team. Stephanie was also part of the COP26 organising team where she led international agreements related to clean technologies and was previously a British Diplomat in China.
